Microbial load in feed needs to be minimized in order to avoid its bad impact on the birds.

Current practices include use of certain acids and formaldehyde compounds to treat these feed ingredients, however these chemicals should be avoided because they are carcinogenic. An alternative way to minimize microbial load is use of turmeric, garlic, pepper etc. Among these, turmeric is the common way of treating poultry feed in order to minimize microbial load, improved digestion, anti-oxidation and at the same time to impart yellowish colour to the feed and also to the carcass.

CURO-SAN



CURO-SAN is a blend of turmeric essential oil containing Curcumin and Turmeron. The viscosity of CURO-SAN is the same as other regularly used oils in poultry feed, guaranteeing optimal oil mixing. It also prevents oxidation of oil. CURO-SAN contains higher concentration of Curcumin which cleanses the feed and imparts yellow colour to the finished feed and carcass. CURO-SAN is having antimicrobial properties, it suppresses the growth of microbes present in the feed. CURO-SAN also improves the palatability of the feed.

Application

  • CURO-SAN to be added @ 300-500 g/MT of feed

  • Add in the feed mixer
